Abstract

This project is based on the study of thermoelectric phenomena, which expresses the direct conversion of thermal energy from a temperature gradient into electrical energy and the opposite is also well founded. Highlighting the Peltier effect, which consists in generating a temperature gradient at the junction of two different conductive materials when traversed by an electric current. Having for objective to present the construction of the thermoelectric chip used commercially, its application as well as their advantages and disadvantages in cooling system, during the process will be shown the efficiency of the system and how to improve their performance dissipating the heat generated in the best possible manner.
